The feeling couples talk about long after the music stops. Jeff — The Muscle, The Myth, The Legend Then there is Jeff. The muscle. The superhuman. The man, the myth, the legend. The guy who heard his wife say, “I want to build a barn and run a wedding venue,” and instead of blinking, panicking, or pretending not to hear her, simply said: “What color?” That is Jeff. If Chris dreamed it, Jeff figured out how to build it, lift it, fix it, move it, wire it, haul it, brace it, paint it, or somehow make it happen before anyone else had even found the measuring tape. Ireland — The Wedding Coordinator Everyone Wants to Steal Ireland is our wedding coordinator, our calm in the chaos, our timeline whisperer, our “already handled it” girl. She makes wedding days look effortless — which is rude, honestly, because we all know there are approximately 4,000 moving parts behind the scenes. In a snowy Canadian town, polite Matt—who apologized to trees and said “eh” too much—bumped into Eden, a warm Ethiopian woman. Trying to impress her, Matt showed off shoveling snow and pancakes. Eden laughed, “Cute, but can you make injera or dance eskista?” Matt asked, “Is that a hockey move?” From then on, they mixed maple syrup with berbere spice, hockey with eskista, and their hearts—learning love means embracing sweet, spicy, and funny moments.
